Sacred landscape is a subject of many scientific analyses and elaborations. It is characterized by the presence of tangible manifestations of faith. Sacred objects can serve as a complement to an interesting landscape or act as the main subject.
Their presence on a photo helps to obtain a new, extraordinary shot. All surrounding elements, both natural and man-made with sacral objects included, create so called identity of a place. It is shaped by its history and cultural heritage, nature and currently existing condition.
Sacred landscape has an uncanny soul, that can be perceived in incorporeal terms through its unique ambience and presence of objects with an unique history behind them. These photos were taken during numerous photographic expeditions aimed to complete the photo colection for my book about landscape and architecture photography, which soon will also be available on my website.
For those interested in the subject I’d like to offer my photography tours at www.creativephototours.com
